Woodstock Skating Club SUMMER SESSION

General Information
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.Applications are due by June 15th, 2011. Woodstock Skating Club members shall have priority until June 1, 2011. The Woodstock Skating Club reserves the right to reclassify skaters as deemed necessary.
All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada through a home club.
Guest Skating Policy
Guest skating will only be allowed on sessions which are not full. The rate for guest skating will be $15 per hour for skaters registered in a summer session. For skaters not registered the fee is $20 per hour. Guest fees must be paid PRIOR to skating a session. Skaters not registered may guest skate to a maximum of three sessions.
Test Day
Test day is scheduled for Thursday, August 11th, 2011.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation in part or full must be made in writing, addressed to the Woodstock Skating Club, no later than April 1June 15th, 2011 in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to a 25% administrative fee.
Dishonoured Cheques
NSF cheques will be subject to a $30 service fee. Reimbursement of fees plus the $30 fee must be made in cash.
Minimum Enrolment
All sessions are subject to a minimum enrolment. Sessions may be cancelled or combined according to demand.
Liability
The Woodstock Skating Club (WSC) is not liable for injuries, accidents, or other occurrences either on or off the ice. WSC is not responsible for failure to supply ice due to any weather, mechanical breakdown, or means beyond our control, WSC will make every attempt to reschedule ice.
Lessons
Private lessons may be arranged with a coach of your choosing. Fees for private lessons are payable directly to the coach and are the responsibility of the skater.
Skaters’ Conduct
Good etiquette between all skaters and coaches is expected and minimum standards of responsibility and behaviour will be enforced when necessary.
Custom Packages
Custom packages can be arranged and may be subject to an administration fee. Please contact the Skating Club office with your request.

CANSKATE: for ages 5 & up offered for children to develop fundamental skating skills. CanSkate is Canada's only national learn-to-skate program.
TIME: Tuesday 9:00am - 9:45am Thursday 9:00am 9:45am
COST: $95.00 one day $170 both days
INTRO STARSKATE: for skaters passed CanSkate Stage 3, offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating.
TIME: Tuesday 9:00am - 10:00am Thursday 9:00am - 10:00am
COST: $125 one day $230 BOTH DAYS
JUNIOR
Qualifications:
Skaters must be under the guidance of a professional coach and must make their own arrangements for lessons with a coach.

Intermediate - skaters must be passed preliminary dances or recommended by a professional coach.
Senior - skaters must be passed Junior Bronze Freeskate or Junior Silver Skills or Dances.
