Ontario Public Health Public Resources

Hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette - Maintaining good hand and respiratory hygiene are very important personal practices that help reduce the risk of infection or spreading infection to others.

Physical distancing - Together, we can slow the spread of COVID-19 by making a conscious effort to keep a physical distance between each other. Physical distancing is proven to be one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of illness during an outbreak.

This means making changes in your everyday routines to minimize close contact with others, including:

When and How to Wear a Mask - Individuals must follow local Public Health guidelines with respect to wearing face masks within facilities.

How to Self Monitor - Be aware of any symptoms you may be experiencing and stay home if you are feeling unwell.

How to Self Isolate -  Follow our local public health unit guidelines.
